Well, yes it can.

More to the point of this discussion, I've looked a bit at the Quick Update tool, and expect it to be revised a bit more improved usability as well as the new inventory tables.  It also has some misaligned columns in the page body that will need to be addressed..

This is a great addition, though it will have to be modified to take advantage of our new Inventory control system soon.

It may in fact, become the basis of that systems admin control panel...

A great feature with EOS is the quick update for products which is found here:
Admin home/product catalog/quick updates.
If you need to make a change for a whole category or manufacturer. This can be done all at once and all on one page. You can change prices by dollar amount or percentage, quantity, weight or if it's taxable or not. This can save a lot of time instead of one item at a time or having to use easy populate.
