Terri,

Another helpful resource in CRE Loaded is the Pages system.  Whether you have "CDS" or just the stock CRE Pages system, this system is designed to create regular HTML pages which might otherwise be produced as static pages.

The advantage is that they are not presented in quite the same format as an article, and they can benefit from dynamic presentation of navigation and marketing elements controlled by the cart.

They do require activation of their own menu box so that pages can be reached from the front page. 

In EOS, we're folding these systems together, so that the information pages are presented as a category of pages in the page menu, This should help reduce some of the confusion for both store owners and customers.

In creloaded there is article, information and FAQ's.  Articles usually take the form a back ground or general product information. Information is used for one time information such as instrustructions. FAQ's are questions and answers.

So it kind of sound like you need to use information.

There are several e-books around , but I am not sure what they may have. As far as the creloaded documentation project I never wrote anything on article, information or the FAQ's system.

Explanation about Articles versus Helpful Information

I am looking to add helpful information on my site that I want to remain on the site indefinitely. I've been looking at the article area, but I do not believe this particular information falls in the Article realm.

I design personalized labels, specifically water and wine bottle labels. I want to place the Instructions for Application on my site as a customer tool.

How do I learn more about the Article feature (how to use it)?

Also, what is the difference between Articles and basic Helpful Information? Should I be adding the Application Instructions in the FAQs area instead?
