Nice tip, Raven!

The infobox controller has been one of the most under appreciated systems around when it comes to managing a website.  But it certainly offers some powerful options when it comes to maximizing the use of screen real estate..

moving info boxes if main page of catalog looks to busy

If your catalog main-index page looks too busy you can move or shut off info boxes. When I surveyed customers they had liked boxes to one side of the page. They thought having info boxes on both side of the page was too busy looking. You can move them from the right to the left or left to right. You can shut off boxes if you don't want them to show. You can move them up or down.Back up your catalog before you do this in case you don't like the end result.
Log into your admin and on the left click on design control, then click on info box configure. I would first turn off the boxes that you don't want to use by clicking on the pink dot next to each box you don't want, it will turn red for off. Then take a look at your catalog. Look at the boxes that are left and decide what order you want them to show. If you want to move remaining boxes all to one side then just click on the the title of the box the scroll down to the bottom and click edit. On the right side of the page is will say which side do you want the box on. Just click on which side and click on update. I usually keep  the catalog open so I can go back and forth to check how they look. Just keep refreshing your catalog page.  Then if you want to move your boxes up or down on the page you click on each, then scroll down and click on edit. On the left side of the page there is column position. Just put in the number position you want the box at and then click update. It might take longer to do it this way but then you get a visual of how it looks as your going along.
