EOS Online Merchant 0.53 Alpha Released

I finally installed EOS 0.53 Alpha..
The first impression of the admin interface is very good.

Keep up the good work everybody :)

Today marks the third release of EOS Online Merchant.

The Source Forge release announcement reads as follows:

As with previous releases this one is likely to include improvements  which "break" osCommerce compatibility.  In particular, granularity of language management has been somewhat improved, and the language system rebuilt to use RFC 3066 standard language identifiers rather than an arbitrary language ID.  This has been extended to language directory names and other modifications to improve i18n utilitzation/compliance have been made.

Content Management system changes are in progress, with a good start on merging the Articles and Pages systems, as well as extending support for easily linking static pages into the page navigation system.  In particular, EOS will scan complete file trees for static pages and allow systematic inclusion into site navigation without template modification.  Once complete the end user can expect to find a reduction in the number of menu entries, with more features being available from within the content navigation tree listings and related control panels.

Vendor Management got the ability to attach multiple vendors to a single product.  Nothing major, but a bow towards the simple reality of multi-sourcing retailers.
