I'd like to keep the forums here, but the vendor directory I've planned for the university will likely be duplicated there and it would certainly be nice to see vendors blogging about their own plans for EOS support and products there.

There will also be more opportunity to participate in EOS development this year.  Once Tom is done with the gallery work, we should be back at work on the checkout process and discount related code development.  Once that is working, we'll have a boilerplate for gift voucher, gift certificate, store credit voucher and other expansions.

There is a lot of work to do yet before going Beta.  But, with more development help, EOS should be making a big splash by the end of the year...

I think that is likely the case.  Even with Chemo and Rhea Anthony at work , they have a lot of baggage to overcome from the old project.  I'll keep an eye on that effort - but plan to plug ahead with EOS.

New site for EOS information coming soon, though it will not replace these forums.

My honest opinion is that the OSC project is pretty dead in the water. The comunity are the only people keeping the project alive and no serious work had been done on 3.0 in months.

Perhaps it is time to say goodbye to the old... and hello to the new...

Well, looks like Harald is back at programming osCommerce 2.2 again.

8 new commits - all to the 2.2 branch.

When will osCommerce 3.0 see some progress?  Who knows!
