Sort of but not really.
the sub product feature act as a psuedo category, combining simular products on one page. The parent never exists, and never has a quantity but is used to show very simular products on one product page.
Bundled products, is like having a product that needs to be assembled, the sub parts are individual products that have an inventory quantity. These sub parts are grouped together. each group is display Usually as a drop down select.
an example would be like custom built computer. The actual final product does not exist until it is built. But the parts to build it do . once it is purchased it does have an inventory.
Eos does not yet have bundled products, but will.
