I cant wait until this comes out.  After Creloaded came out with the 6.3 and the dumb subscription price I already started looking for another cart.

Will take you to the Mantis project page.  Includes links to changelog and automated Roadmap.  This is not yet terribly well populated, but SVN commit messages have been setup which will allow these programmer centered tools to be kept up to date regularly once we hit our stride..

Thanks, William.

The pricing code and product image structures are worth some attention - our current round of refactoring / cleanup shouldn't really touch those.

I expect you'll find some new template features as well, though Tom is currently doing quite a few changes there.

Eos Online Merchant is a CRE Loaded based shopping cart produced in a collaborative effort led by StrikeHawk eCommerce.  The project is currently in Alpha development but already features significant enhancements.

The development objective  is to produce code that focuses strongly on core eCommerce operational needs rather than attempting to inject advertising and affiliate programs at every opportunity.

The project intends to operate in accordance with Open Source principles - each new core feature will be released initially into a free release which does not include advertising other than the copyright notices and site back links.  This release will always be free and the focal point of the development team.

Commercial releases will be spun off from the free release periodically and support will be available from a variety of hosts and web designers many of whom will also be participating in development.

Another major difference to other Open Source eCommerce software projects is the  teams willingness to share development support structures and activities with specialized branches of the distribution.   It is felt that shared responsibility for maintaining common code will benefit both branches and that specialized distributions may offer a better environment for some niche markets.

Look for more information here soon as the project conducts an initial Alpha release during the coming week.....
