I think it best to stick as close as possible to the Royal Mails standards as we can.

One issue we are going to have to address is documenting what the selected standard for a country/zone is when international standards to not apply to a given situation.  I imagine something coming to the wiki soon....

Ok, I've  checked the original against the new one at OSC - Then compared it to the current UK counties list with royal mail and 99.9% of them are correct.

There are a couple in there that are classed as counties but not really checked with RM. There was also one spelling mistake that i have changed.

Attached list is correct.

What i'll do is check what i have with the new one, then i'll cross check this with the royal mail database and add any that are missing. Should be done by weekend.

I believe I saw a new update to UK counties list on osCommerce.com the other day.  Seemed to add 3 or 4 new counties in Ireland.

Just how complete are these entires???   Is there anything we can do to improve them?

I believe that it has been addressed.  But, it certainly will not suffer from a review of the Alpha code.

It is my pleasure.  I regret not discovering earlier that this vital information had not been captured and added to the distribution after I inserted it during the CRE Loaded 6.2 release cycle.  I look forward to addressing this issue as we resume development   based on CRE Loaded.

One of my biggest issues with CRE Loaded was the lack of UK counties installed on a new install.

I've been using the attached list for a while now and been updating it as and when.

If you want to install UK counties (zones) into your creloaded site, just download the attached file and follow the instructions

Feel free to amend/update as you see fit, just make sure you list any amendments on here and in the readme before uploading.
