multilingual webshop to support sales across several European markets on behalf of southern German company Bernd Hummel Holding, licence holder for the KangaROOS brand in 16 European countries. The webshop sells KangaROOS shoes, clothing and accessories.
It was not only the qualities of the KangaROOS brand that were taken into account when developing the concept for the webshops, but also the translation of this concept into other brand formulas. Besides KangaROOS, the shop concept has also been applied to the summer shoe and accessories brand Flip*Flop.
Fully integrated e-commerce platformBernd Hummel Holding and Strawberries bore joint responsibility for the concept while the KangaROOS and Flip*Flop shops were under development. Strawberries took care of the design, implementation and management, and the Magento platform was used as an e-commerce solution.
The webshops are fully integrated with the Austrian logistics service provider Dohmen. In addition, the e-commerce platform is integrated with a credit-check module and various social networking sites such as Facebook, Twitter and Studivz.
